Taikodom

Taikodom is the greatest massive online game ever developed in Brazil. By themselves or in corporations, players participate in combats and mining and commerce activities across space. All action takes place in real-time.

The Taikodom game was licensed by the American publisher GamersFirst to be published in 31 countries, including the US and the European Union. Leader in the MMO free-to-play industry in the western world, GamersFirst announced this partnership in E3 2009 – the greatest event for electronic games in the world.

Taikodom takes place in the 23rd century. Humanity has lost the Earth, but conquered the stars. In this scenario, thousands of players impersonate characters aboard of their spaceships. They'll mine asteroids, combat the enemy and trade goods, seizing their own goals by themselves or with the help of a corporation.

Each action runs online. When playing Taikodom on their computers, users will connect themselves to a virtual world, interacting with several people playing simultaneously. There is no recipe for leveling up: The combination of missions and the sum of the community's individual activities turn the game into something dynamic and unpredictable. Even when the player logs out, things will keep happening inside the game.

The following features shows why Taikodom stands out:

  • Direct and real-time piloting
  • Users share one single universe
  • Persistent actions, meaning characters behavior having an impact in the game universe
  • Sound and realistic virtual economy
  • Consistent and detailed visual concept, from spaceship design to nodes color composition
  • Based on a cohesive fictional universe created by Hoplon Infotainment and developed by a team that has among its members the renowned sci-fi writer Gerson Lodi-Ribeiro
